Menopause in Motion

Menopause in Motion: Get moving, share stories, and embrace the change together in a fun, supportive meetup! If you've been feeling like your body is changing and nobody gave you a roadmap, you're not alone. We are so excited to invite you to Menopause in Motion - an evening designed to support, educate, and empower women navigating perimenopause and menopause. Set on the beautiful grounds of Blue Dot Acres, a peaceful Burlington farm surrounded by nature, this experience is designed to help you step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with yourself. Your evening includes: ✨ A beginner-friendly barre class to help you move, strengthen, and reconnect with your body ✨ An empowering menopause education session with Dr. Ally and Dr. Maryellen where we'll discuss hormonal changes, common symptoms, and practical strategies to help you feel your best ✨ Joining us is Daniela Renzella, Reiki Practitioner and Emotional Freedom Healing facilitator, who will lead a deeply restorative healing session exploring menopausal symptoms, how they can make you feel, and how to reconnect with a sense of power, light, and healing within this stage of life. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other women who understand exactly what you're going through in a supportive and welcoming environment. Autumn Grounding: Settling the Nervous System & Restoring Rhythm

Ayurveda, an ancient sister science to yoga, teaches that autumn is a time to slow down, ground, and nourish the system. By aligning with seasonal rhythms, we can create greater stability, restore calm, and support resilience through change. In this 1.5-hour experiential workshop, you’ll be guided through grounding yoga, soothing breathwork, and simple daily rituals to support nervous system regulation and restore a sense of steadiness and ease. Who This Workshop Is For This workshop is for anyone feeling restless, anxious, or depleted during times of transition. It’s especially supportive if you’re experiencing difficulty sleeping, digestive irregularity, mental overwhelm, dryness, or a general sense of being ungrounded. No prior experience with Ayurveda is needed. LaBlast Dance-Fitness

LaBlast is an easy, fun aerobics class suitable for all ages — particularly welcoming to women over 50 seeking a gentler alternative to high-intensity workouts, and also popular with younger participants. The instructor learned this method in Florida, and this marks its first offering in Canada. Drop-ins are welcome each week. BurlingtonGreen invites you to a Thanksgiving Beach Clean-Up, where community members of all ages can come together to help protect Burlington Beach and learn about the importance of keeping our shoreline healthy. Join us for a meaningful morning of environmental action as we remove litter and search for microplastics and nurdles — small plastic pieces that can harm wildlife and make their way into our waterways. Through this hands-on activity, participants will learn how these pollutants impact our environment and how we can all help create cleaner, healthier spaces for nature and our community.
