Black Music on the Boardwalk Waterfront Fete is a free community event celebrating Black Music Month in Burlington, ON, held at Spencer Smith Park. Glow Wild Family Dance Party

Glow Wild is an all-ages dance party from 7:30–9:30 PM, followed by a firefly walk. The event runs until 10 PM. Attendees of all ages can dance to upbeat music in the outdoor space. Children must be accompanied by an adult. As the music winds down and the sky darkens, fireflies begin to emerge. After the dance party ends, guests are invited to follow a firefly path for a gentle walk through the walnut grove. The evening includes a campfire with marshmallows (weather permitting). Optional glow-themed activities are available as paid add-ons. Tickets are $15 per person and include entry to the dance party, a guided or self-paced firefly walk, and access to the campfire. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or haven't picked up a glue stick since elementary school, this beginner-friendly workshop will introduce you to the joy of transforming everyday items into beautiful, personalized journal art. Junk journaling is part scrapbook, part art journal, part memory keeper, and completely unique to you. Using papers, ribbons, tags, playing cards, and other treasures, you'll create pages and pockets for your own journal, that reflect your own creativity and style. This workshop is part of the Let's Play With... series, designed to help adults reconnect with creativity, community, and play in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
