The event focuses on genuine connection rather than transactional pitching. Attendees practice meeting others in a low-pressure environment where authenticity is valued over polish or performance. The host will facilitate introductions and ensure all guests connect meaningfully. Light snacks will be provided. Attendance is free and drop-in; reservations are optional but appreciated. Whether you're a seasoned crafter or haven't picked up a glue stick since elementary school, this beginner-friendly workshop will introduce you to the joy of transforming everyday items into beautiful, personalized journal art. Junk journaling is part scrapbook, part art journal, part memory keeper, and completely unique to you. Using papers, ribbons, tags, playing cards, and other treasures, you'll create pages and pockets for your own journal, that reflect your own creativity and style. This workshop is part of the Let's Play With... series, designed to help adults reconnect with creativity, community, and play in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
