Brooklyn-born, Swiss-raised, and Toronto-based, she is celebrated for her powerful, soul-stirring voice and dynamic live performances that have captivated audiences in 31 countries. Her latest single, “Keep It Movin’,” follows her JUNO-nominated, Folk Canada Award–winning album Hold On to Love. The production features music, dance, and comedy, including a traditional finale with Pearlie Kings and Queens. A character called Mr. Chairman delivers jokes from the podium, and the audience is encouraged to clap, cheer, boo, and hiss. Suggested for all ages. Eight actors with Down syndrome perform a reimagining of Hamlet that blends Shakespeare's original text with their personal stories. The production explores themes of identity, belonging, and what it means to live a meaningful life in a society focused on productivity and perfection. The performance opens with "To be or not to be?" — reframed as a lived question about visibility and acceptance in a world that often overlooks people with disabilities. BPAC is collaborating with colleagues to bring this company from Peru on a national tour in Spring 2027.
