Hamlet
Eight actors with Down syndrome perform a reimagining of Hamlet that blends Shakespeare's original text with their personal stories. The production explores themes of identity, belonging, and what it means to live a meaningful life in a society focused on productivity and perfection.
The performance opens with "To be or not to be?" — reframed as a lived question about visibility and acceptance in a world that often overlooks people with disabilities.
BPAC is collaborating with colleagues to bring this company from Peru on a national tour in Spring 2027.
