Summer Camp Week 7 - August 17th - 21st / 2026

Centre Stage Theatre School offers weekly summer camp programs throughout the summer. Campers explore stage movement, characterization, improvisation, vocal work, theatre dance, theatre games, singing, storytelling, and the creation of props, scenery, and costumes. Students are grouped by age wherever possible. At the end of each week, all participants perform in a show for parents and guardians in the Centre Stage Studio Theatre (subject to COVID-19 guidelines and requirements). The program develops acting skills, self-confidence, expression, creativity, concentration, public speaking, and group cooperation in a welcoming and supportive environment. A Customer Advisor will demonstrate how to make a stand for rooting plant cuttings. Participants will sand and prep wood, drill holes, hand cut miters, glue pieces together, and apply a finish. Paint a Mug Paint Night at Williams Fresh Cafe. Participants will follow step-by-step ceramic painting instruction led by Julie Wurtele. The event runs from 6 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, August 29. Attendees are invited to arrive early to save a seat and enjoy dinner at the cafe's main restaurant before the painting session begins (first come, first served; seats cannot be guaranteed).
