Kinton Ramen Is Coming to Lakeshore in Downtown Burlington

Downtown Burlington is getting a ramen shop. Kinton Ramen has Lakeshore listed as coming soon, which will make it the chain's second Burlington location, after the one at 2500 Appleby Line. No opening date or unit number has been announced.

Kinton's bowls come in a handful of broths: the original creamy house broth, a soy based shoyu, a miso, a spicy garlic and a spicy jalapeno. Each one can be ordered with pork, chicken, beef or a vegetarian version built on inari tofu. Pork and chicken original ramen run $16.99 on the Ontario menu and beef is $17.99.

The sides are the other half of the order: pork or veggie gyoza, karaage fried chicken, takoyaki, Tokyo fries topped with bonito flakes and nori, and rice donburi bowls. There is Sapporo on draft and house sake by the glass, plus matcha ice cream and cheesecake to finish.

For anyone feeding a group, the menu runs to combinations: a value meal from $15.99 pairs a ramen with gyoza or Tokyo fries and a drink, a kids' combo starts at $9.99, and meals for two and four are priced for the table.
