Falling for Burlington Downtown Returns for a Fifth Year on October 3
Downtown Burlington throws its fall afternoon on Saturday, October 3, and it is free to walk into. Falling for Burlington Downtown is in its fifth year, and it fills Village Square and the Promenade Walkway between Brant and Elgin from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The afternoon is built around seasonal food and small things to do: pumpkin-flavoured bites and sweets from downtown businesses, games, hands-on activities and spots set up for photos. Downtown Burlington counts more than 400 small businesses, and local shops and artists supply most of what is on the tables.
There is one detail worth knowing if crowds are hard on someone in your group. The event includes a sensory zone, a quieter space with gentle lighting, softer sound and staff on hand to help.
The official event map and the rest of the details are still to come. The Burlington Downtown BIA posts them on Instagram and Facebook as they land, and we will pass them along here too.
