Ethan Tatomir Hat Trick Pushes Burlington Cougars Win Streak to Four

The Burlington Cougars have won four in a row, and the latest one was the kind of game that leaves the scoreboard operator tired. Friday night against the Toronto Warriors at Central Arena, the two teams put up seven goals in the first period alone.

Toronto scored twice inside the opening five minutes. Hayden Bondy got Burlington on the board with his second of the year, Toronto added a short handed goal at the halfway mark, and George Matsos and Ethan Tatomir answered with one each before Toronto struck again with under a minute left in the period.

Zaiden Hraiche opened the second with his eighth of the season 1:22 in, Tatomir got his second of the night about five minutes later, and Toronto replied on the power play. The third period was quieter until it was not: Ty Daniels, Max Morin and Tatomir all scored in the final six minutes, with Tatomir completing the hat trick short handed.

The Cougars have the rest of the week off before hosting the Georgetown Raiders at Central Arena on Friday. Home games and tickets are listed on the team's own site.
