Wildcraft Restaurant and Structube Coming to Burlington Centre in 2027

The construction at the northwest corner of Burlington Centre is making room for two new tenants: a Wildcraft restaurant with a covered patio facing Fairview Street, and a Structube furniture store beside it. Both are expected to open in 2027, and both companies are Canadian owned.

Wildcraft is taking about 7,000 square feet and comes from the Charcoal Group of Restaurants, which has run Beertown at 2050 Appleby Line for roughly eight years and Wildcraft Grill + Long Bar in Waterloo for close to 20. CEO Jody Palubiski expects to hire about 100 people for the Burlington location, likely with a job fair six to eight weeks before opening, and said applications are accepted at any time. The target is late summer or early fall 2027. Indoor construction begins once landlord RioCan finishes the current work.

Structube is building a 17,000 square foot store next door, with indoor renovations early next year and an opening planned for May 2027. Hiring there starts about a month before the doors open, and some staff may transfer in from other locations.

Both spaces sit where Old Navy used to be. Old Navy has already relocated to a new 15,000 square foot store inside the mall, Boathouse has opened a 5,000 square foot store, and Winners finished an expansion that brings it to nearly 27,000 square feet.
