Eagles and Billy Joel by Candlelight Comes to Burlington in October

Burlington Baptist Church on New Street is hosting a candlelit concert on Friday, October 16, with a string quartet playing the best known songs of the Eagles and Billy Joel in a room lit by candles.

The set runs an hour and covers both catalogues, so Take It Easy and Hotel California sit next to Piano Man and We Didn't Start the Fire, with Vienna, Lyin' Eyes, One of These Nights and Tell Her About It in between. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the music starts at 6 p.m.

SOLAS Presents is behind it, the company running the candlelight shows that have been touring churches and halls around Ontario. Seating is unreserved, so arriving early is worth it if a particular spot matters.

All ages are welcome and tickets start at $20, rising to $65 for the closest seats.
