Burlington Waterfront Dessert Walk A guided walk along the waterfront with dessert stops. The pace is relaxed and social, designed for connecting and enjoying the area. The organizers are opening one public group in the second half of June, pending sufficient participants. This is the only public walk scheduled for the season. Small group. Attendees may come solo or with friends. Spots are limited and will be confirmed once the group fills. Bookings are handled directly with the organizer — send a message to reserve a spot.

The 2026 Love Your Lakes project focuses on shoreline cleanups that give volunteers the chance to help clean up beaches and parks in their own community! These events are open to the public, and a great way to get outside, meet new people, collect volunteer hours, and help reduce litter to save our lakes! Which includes a Juried Exhibition of Cut Garden Roses and Floral Design Staged in Rooms 3, 4,and 5 in the Royal Botanical Gardens Centre (Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st from 10:00am to 5:00pm), Short talks on rose care and culture on Saturday 1:00pm and 3:00pm Create a ‘Make and Take’ small design Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm Potted Miniature Roses will be for sale during show hours while supplies last Sale of Cut Show Blooms begins Sunday at 4:00pm Show is free with paid admission to the Royal Botanical Gardens, 4:00pm is last admission time to the RBG which closes at 5:00pm Come early and spend the day in all the gardens After a visit to the show be sure to visit the World Federation of Rose Societies Award Winning Rose Garden in Hendrie Park across the street from the RBG Center

A Greener Future (AGF) is hosting a shoreline cleanup as part of its 2026 Love Your Lakes project. The non-profit environmental organization invites volunteers to help clean up beaches and parks in the community. Volunteers will collect litter at Burloak Waterfront Park. Litter pickers and buckets will be provided. Attendees should dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle. Those collecting volunteer hours should bring a volunteer form.
