This month's selection is Demon Copperfield by Barbara Kingsolver. Set in the mountains of southern Appalachia, the novel follows a boy born into poverty who relies on wit, charm, and resilience to survive foster care, addiction, and heartbreak. Inspired by David Copperfield, it offers a modern retelling that gives voice to a new generation growing up in forgotten corners of America.
