BPL Book Club

This book club meets monthly for discussion of thoughtfully selected titles, ranging from classics to new releases. The gathering begins with time to meet and mingle, followed by a guided discussion led by staff.

Attendees are welcome to participate even if they have not finished the month's selection. Registration is required and opens monthly.

This month's selection is The Original Daughter by Jemimah Wei. The novel follows Genevieve as her half-sister Arin enters her life; the two grow up bound by family secrets and pressure to succeed in working-class Bedok. As ambition and loyalty collide, Genevieve must decide what matters most—success, love, or the fragile bond that shaped her.
