Summer Camp - Pottery and Art

Beyond Pottery Summer Camp 2026 runs Tuesday, August 4 through Friday, August 7. Drop-off begins at 8:30 AM, with camp hours from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Pick-up is no later than 1:30 PM.

Campers will work with clay daily, create unique pieces, and explore painting, drawing, and printing. Additional activities include paper mâché, DIY journals, clay beads, macramé, and friendship bracelets. Instruction is provided by experienced artists.

Each group has 8 children, one teacher, and one volunteer. Lunch is served in the garden courtyard, weather permitting. Campers should bring a nut-free lunch, snack, water bottle, hat, and sunscreen. No electronics are permitted at camp.

Campers should wear an apron or old t-shirt to protect clothing. Avoid jewelry and keep nails trimmed, as they may interfere with activities.

The organizers strive to include all children. Due to limited staffing and space, specialized one-on-one support may not be available. Parents with children who have specific needs should contact the camp to discuss possible accommodations. Medical information should be provided in advance.

Clay pieces take 3–4 weeks to finish. Parents will receive an email when pieces are ready for pick-up.
