Heritage Week 2026: Opening Ceremony

Heritage Week 2026 launches with a formal ceremony at the Pavilion. Mayor Marianne Meed Ward, Indigenous Spiritual Healer White Eagle, Town Crier David Vollick, and other guests will preside. The program recognizes organizations and businesses with notable anniversaries, presenting recognition certificates and hosting other activities.

Musician and teacher Olivia Brown will perform before and after the ceremony, beginning at 9:45 a.m.

Light refreshments will be served. The event is in-person, with no pre-registration required. Capacity is limited to 60 people.
