Burlington Horticultural presents Sean James: Wonderland, the Winter Garden

Winter lasts a long time — so how do we plant in summer to ensure colour beyond white when looking out windows in February? This month-by-month discussion explores strategies to keep gardens beautiful and healthy through the colder months, with a focus on making gardens do good.

Sean James, owner of Sean James Consulting & Design, leads the session. Named Landscape Ontario's Garden Communicator of the Year in 2020 and 2021, Sean has made gardening his passion and profession for over 40 years. A graduate of Niagara Parks School of Horticulture and a Master Gardener, he is a writer and teacher who specializes in eco-gardening techniques. His work has appeared in major horticultural publications, shaped industry standards, and been featured on radio and television, including as a guest host on CBC's 'The Gardening Show.'

This session welcomes amateur gardeners of all levels interested in learning more about gardening in all its forms.
