Telling Tales Festival 2026

BurlingtonGreen will host a tent at the annual Telling Tales Children's Literary Festival in Hendrie Park at the Royal Botanical Gardens on October 3rd and 4th, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Daily from 9:45 AM to 5:00 PM, visitors can stop by the BG tent to make native wildflower seed balls and learn how to protect and nurture butterflies and other pollinators. The tent will also feature eco-fun activities and climate action resources for all ages.

Guided Nature Discovery Walks are offered daily at 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 3:30 PM. Each 30-minute walk explores the nature around the gardens and highlights local wildlife like Monarch Butterflies. After the walk, participants can make seed balls to grow wildflowers that attract butterflies and pollinators to their own backyard or balcony.

Free entry with registration. Telling Tales is a weekend celebrating authors, storytelling, creativity, and fun for families.
