🌿 Walking with Art by the Lake

This fall, Burlington transforms into an open-air gallery for Culture Days, offering free self-guided tours across the city. From downtown bike racks shaped by artists to the Terry Fox Monument and the Spiral Stela sculpture built with residents’ keepsakes, every stop reveals a piece of local identity.

At Spencer Smith Park, Indigenous artists wrap electrical boxes with vivid works for the Bimose Agaming art walk, ending at a symbolic orange crosswalk. Along the Beachway trail, temporary art signs invite you to slow down, look around, and discover the city’s creativity for yourself.

🎬 For the Movie Lovers

TIFF is back Sept. 4–14, and Toronto’s celebrating its 50th year with big premieres and even bigger stars. Think Daniel Craig solving another mystery, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stepping into a dramatic role, and Guillermo del Toro adding his spooky magic to the lineup.

If you’re planning a night out, there’s something for every mood, star-studded mysteries, heartfelt dramas, even quirky comedies. Plus, the red carpets are perfect for a little celebrity spotting between shows.
