🧵 Craftadian Handmade Market Welcomes November

This November, Burlington’s Ron Joyce Centre will come alive with colour and creativity as the Craftadian Handmade Market returns for a weekend of local shopping and inspiration. More than 120 artisans will be on hand with unique jewelry, candles, art, and sweet treats to explore.
The event celebrates Burlington’s talented makers and the joy of buying local, where every purchase supports creativity and community growth.
🎶 Young Talent Shines for Canada Music Week
Halton’s brightest young musicians are tuning up for a special night at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, November 20. Hosted by the Hamilton/Halton branch of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, the concert will feature local performers celebrating Canadian music from coast to coast.
The two-hour showcase, titled Canada: From Sea to Sea to Sea, promises an inspiring evening of talent, pride, and national spirit.

🏊 Burlington Coaches Make a Splash on the World Stage

Burlington’s own Colleen Bent and Cody Bradt from the Golden Horseshoe Aquatic Club have been recognized as World Class Development Coaches at the 2025 Swim Ontario Awards. The duo earned their honours for guiding para athletes to impressive world rankings.
Known for their dedication and teamwork, Bent and Bradt continue to raise the bar for excellence, proudly representing Burlington on the road to Los Angeles 2028.
🥁 Burlington Teen Tour Band at the World Series

More than 40 alumni from the Burlington Teen Tour Band marched back into the spotlight during the World Series pregame show at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. Performing before 44,000 fans, the group helped form giant flag displays while singing alongside Pharrell Williams and the Voices of Fire choir.
For the alumni, it was a proud reunion and a true once-in-a-lifetime experience that celebrated music, teamwork, and Burlington spirit.
