Together With Divinity Wellness

Not every wellness experience is about fixing something. Sometimes it's simply about feeling good, meeting great people, and making space for yourself. That's the spirit behind Divinity Wellness.
Each month, our community comes together for sound healing, meditation, breathwork, restorative yoga, Reiki, wellness talks, and more, all designed to help people reconnect, recharge, and try something new. What we love most is seeing people arrive on their own and leave feeling like they've found their people.
Many events take place in our Energy Enhancement (EE) System room, combining light, frequency, and relaxation technology for rest and reflection. We also offer acupuncture, registered massage therapy, lymphatic drainage, and other holistic modalities. And yes, we even host sessions for pets.
Come for an event. Stay for the experience. As a thank you to Burlington Digest readers, enjoy a complimentary 2-hour EE System session ($130 value) with any event purchase, for a limited time.
✨ Connect. Recharge. Belong. ✨

🗓️ What’s Happening in June?
This month in Burlington has no shortage of exciting events. Outdoor concerts, Summer markets and festivals, Comedy Nights, and much more. From family friendly activities, to music & arts, to wellness & workshops, this month has it all! 🎊
We just released our June event guide yesterday, it should already be in your inbox, but in case you missed it here is the link. 👇
BPL’s Summer Reading Club 📚

Burlington Public Library’s Summer Reading Club is back to help children and teens ages 0-17 keep reading, build confidence, and avoid the summer learning slide while school is out. The free program encourages families to make reading part of their summer routine, with weekly goals, rewards, library activities, and prize draw entries along the way.
Registration is now open online or at any BPL branch. Participants can pick up or print a reading tracker, set a weekly reading goal, and begin weekly check-ins on June 29.
Each check-in earns two beads for a reward keychain and one Grand Prize Draw entry. Kick-Off Parties run Saturday, June 27, with free programs continuing through July and August.
Burnt Tongue Opens This Week 🍽
The Burnt Tongue is opening its first Burlington location this week, bringing the Hamilton soup shop east for the first time after announcing the expansion a few weeks ago.
The new spot opens tomorrow June 4th at 491 Appleby Line, in the plaza at Appleby and New. Instagram commenters are already excited, with some asking for even more locations down the road.
Who will be paying them a visit soon?

Pet Spotlight: Meet Mitzy
Mitzy is a beautiful 2-year-7-month-old girl with a soft velvet coat and a gentle spirit. She is a shy and sensitive cat who will need a calm, quiet home with patient people who will allow her to settle in at her own pace.
Although timid at first, Mitzy finds comfort in the company of other cats and has lived successfully with feline friends here at Burlington Humane. A calm cat companion may help her continue to build confidence.
With love, patience, and understanding, Mitzy has the potential to blossom into a wonderful lifelong companion.
Oldtimers Buy Their Clubhouse 🏒
The Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Club has officially closed on the purchase of its longtime clubhouse, Hector's, after 50 years of renting the space.
The club had been leasing the unit from one of its original members, Bert MacDowell, through MacDowell Insurance. As rental costs kept climbing, buying made more sense than continuing to lease.
Hector's hosts committee meetings, year-end barbecues, awards nights, and private events for members. It's also home to the club's memorabilia and supplies. MacDowell gave the club the opportunity to purchase the property and keep it in the hands of the organization.
The purchase secures a permanent gathering spot for current members and future generations of oldtimers.
