Let’s work together.

❄️ Just When It Felt Like Spring
Just when it felt like we were finally catching a break, winter has other plans. After yesterday’s almost spring-like day, the snow and ice is coming back strong today. Environment Canada is calling for snowfall of 10 to 15 centimetres, with a risk of freezing rain and ice pellets mixed in.
It’s a quick return to boots and slow drives. Roads and sidewalks could get icy as the day goes on, so give yourself extra time if you’re heading out. Winter isn’t quite ready to let go of Burlington yet.
🌊 Careful Near Local Waterways
With milder temperatures and rain or snow in the forecast, Conservation Halton is warning Burlington residents to be careful around rivers and creeks this week. Melting snow, frozen ground, and existing ice cover could lead to higher water levels, faster currents, and possible ice jams, especially midweek.
Widespread flooding is not expected, but low-lying areas may see pooling water. Officials are reminding families to keep a safe distance from waterways, bridges, and ice-covered surfaces, as conditions can change quickly.
🍕 Blondies Opens in Burlington
Last week we reported on a reddit user sighting a Blondies Pizza sign on Fairview line. Since then, the popular Toronto pizza chain has officially announced they are open.
The new location is located at 4490 Fairview Street in the same plaza as Bagel Barn and McDonald’s. Blondies is know for their unique and innovative dining experience, and many locals are excited to try a bite.

🐈⬛ Pet Spotlight: Meet Prince
Prince is a handsome four-year-old boy with a loving and affectionate personality. He enjoys attention and will happily spend time soaking up pets from his favourite people. Prince would do best as the only cat in the home, where he can truly shine and receive all the love he deserves.
At times, he can become overstimulated and a little nippy, so he is looking for an experienced adopter who understands feline body language and can recognize when he needs a break. With patience and understanding, Prince will be a loyal and rewarding companion. Could you be his perfect match?
⚾ Local Team Aiming For Cooperstown
The Burlington Bulls U12 AA team is heading to Cooperstown, New York this July to compete at Cooperstown All Star Village, just steps from the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The week-long tournament brings together teams from across North America, and the players will stay together on site, play on purpose-built diamonds, and spend their days focused on the game they love.
The trip comes with a $35,000 price tag, and the team has already raised nearly half through grocery bagging and bottle drives around Burlington. If you see them out collecting cans or packing groceries, it is all part of getting this group of hardworking kids to a tournament they have been looking forward to for months.
