Skyway Community Centre and Park Wins a Provincial Design Award

The Skyway Community Centre and Park has been recognized across the province for the way it was designed.

Parks and Recreation Ontario named the centre the recipient of its 2026 Facility Design Award of Excellence. The award goes to completed projects that put real public consultation into the process and show quality in the design of spaces meant for public use, along with uniqueness, innovation and creativity.

Council recognized the city's Skyway Community Centre and Park project team at its meeting last week.
