Shake Shack Is Opening On Dundas Street In Burlington
Shake Shack is coming to Burlington. The U.S. burger chain has confirmed a location at 4511 Dundas St., and the plan is to have it open before the end of this year.
It arrives as part of a three-city announcement. Oakville gets a Shake Shack at 275 Hays Blvd., also this year, and London follows in 2027 at 3275 Wonderland Rd. S. The London site will be the first Shake Shack in Ontario with a drive-thru, which the Burlington shop will not have.
The menu is the reason people line up: Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken, crinkle-cut fries, hand-spun milkshakes and frozen custard, all made to order.
Shake Shack Canada was formed in 2023 and opened the country's first location at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto in June 2024. There are nine Canadian restaurants now, eight of them in Ontario, including Union Station, Yorkdale, King West, Yonge and Eglinton, Square One in Mississauga and Vaughan Mills. The company has said it plans to open at least 35 across Canada.
No exact opening date has been given for Burlington yet, only the target of sometime this year.
