Overnight Paving Closes Prospect Street Until September 7
Prospect Street at Guelph Line is closed to through traffic overnight until September 7, between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m., while crews pave the road and paint the lines.
A rolling closure moves along the street as the work progresses, with signed detours running by way of Woodward Avenue and Fairview Street. Some residents may be directed in through Dynes Road during certain stages, and temporary delays are expected. Access to homes and buildings on Prospect Street and Dynes Road stays open throughout.
The paving wraps up a job Prospect Street residents have lived with since the winter of 2024, when major watermain and waste watermain installation began. That project also covered road restoration and the installation of protected bike lanes.
