Burlington Firefighters Host Pickleball Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research

Burlington residents can spend a Thursday morning on the pickleball courts and put money toward breast cancer research at the same time. The Burlington Professional Firefighters Association and Burlington Pickleball are running a charity tournament on Thursday, October 22, starting at 9:30 a.m. at 3185 Harvester Road.

The format is round-robin doubles, and players of every skill level are welcome. Entry is $75, and the fee is waived for anyone who raises at least $200 in donations.

Registration goes through email. Send your name, phone number, skill level, and your partner's name if you have one, to benevolent1552@gmail.com. A partner is not required to sign up.

Players of every level are welcome, so a first tournament is as good a reason to show up as any. Get your name in before October 22!
