Coop Wicked Chicken and Bar Closes on Brant Street August 22

Coop Wicked Chicken and Bar is closing on Brant Street. The last day of service is August 22.

Employees told BurlingtonToday that the lease on the property is ending, and that a Korean restaurant is expected to take over the space shortly after the doors close. The next few weeks are being treated as a send-off, with a party expected on the final day, so go hungry.

The closing takes the chain out of the area entirely. Coop's other restaurants near Hamilton have shut in the last few months, including the Waterdown location and the one on King Street West. That leaves a single Coop still open, in Kelowna, B.C.
