Christmas Butter Tart and Artisan Market Comes to Burlington Centre November 7
More than 50 vendors are setting up inside Burlington Centre next month with butter tarts as the main event, and getting in costs nothing.
The Christmas Butter Tart and Artisan Market runs Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Gotta Luv Butter Tarts runs the event, which brings bakers in from around the region with traditional tarts on one table and the newer invented flavours on the next.
Admission is free, and the rest of the floor belongs to artisan vendors, specialty food makers and holiday gift sellers. Cinnamon treats, hot sauce and local meats are all part of the lineup.
The whole thing is indoors, which in early November is worth something, and it lands early enough in the season to clear a few names off the holiday shopping list before December gets busy.
