Presentation by Mark Zelinski on “Niagara Escarpment: Land Between Waters”
Mark Zelinski presents his 2026 book "Niagara Escarpment: Land Between Waters," an exploration of the environmental treasures of the Niagara Escarpment UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve and the diverse Indigenous and settler communities along its path.
The presentation includes photographs and stories from Zelinski's travels across 80 countries, as well as his photography of the Royal Botanical Gardens—Canada's plant and wildlife biodiversity hotspot.
Zelinski is a professional photographer, artist, designer, publisher, writer, and filmmaker. He is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society, a member of The Explorer's Club, and a recipient of the Canadian Governor General's Medal. He trained at the Ontario College of Art and Design and has worked with clients including the National Film Board of Canada and Panasonic.
Books will be available for purchase and signing. Capacity is limited to 50 people. In-person attendance only.
Parking is available on-site or at the municipal parking lot at Brock Avenue and Lakeshore Road.
