Joseph Brant Museum is hosting the eat make share speaker series, featuring acclaimed Canadian cookbook authors discussing their publications and how their family's cultural background has shaped their culinary journeys.
Attendees will enjoy recipe sampling, author book signings, and the opportunity to view the special exhibit eat make share: a taste of immigration from the Canadian Museums of Immigration at Pier 21. Featured titles are available for purchase from the author and in the Museum's gift shop.
August 18, 2026: Souk to Table by Amina Al-Saigh. Food blogger Amina Al-Saigh (@hungrypaprikas) presents easy, quick, and accessible Middle Eastern recipes inspired by her heritage. Her approach focuses on bold flavours without requiring hours in the kitchen.
The Museum opens at 6 PM for those wishing to view the special exhibit. The speaker presentation begins at 7 PM, followed by light refreshments.
Ticket includes Museum admission, the speaker presentation, and refreshments. Recommended for ages 12+.
