Heritage Week 2026: LaSalle Park and Waterfront Walking Tour (meet at the ground floor of LaSalle Pavilion)

Following the Opening Ceremony, Alan Harrington of the Burlington Historical Society will lead a walk through LaSalle Park. Participants will hear stories about the explorer René-Robert Cavalier de LaSalle, the park's history, and the natural area's significance to the community, while visiting locations of interest along the route.

Comfortable walking shoes, a sun hat, and sunscreen or other weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
