Film Screening: Peace by Chocolate
Joseph Brant Museum is screening "Peace by Chocolate," a film based on the true story of the Hadhads, a Syrian family who resettled in Canada as refugees and established an artisanal chocolate shop in Nova Scotia.
Doors open at 6 PM for viewing the special exhibit "eat make share: a taste of immigration" from the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. The film begins at 7 PM and runs 96 minutes. Rated PG.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under. Admission includes access to Joseph Brant Museum and complimentary popcorn.
Additional snacks, refreshments, and Peace by Chocolate merchandise are available for purchase in the museum's Gift Shop.
