Film Screening: Peace by Chocolate
Attend a film screening of “Peace by Chocolate” at Joseph Brant Museum! The film is based on the true story of the Hadhads, a family from Syria who moved to Canada as refugees from the Syrian civil war, settling in Nova Scotia and establishing the Peace by Chocolate artisanal chocolate shop.
The film is “a heartwarming tale of triumph over adversity” (The National Post). Tickets are $15/adult, $12/children (12 and under). Includes admission to Joseph Brant Museum and complimentary popcorn.
Additional snacks and refreshments are available for purchase in the museum's Gift Shop, including Peace by Chocolate merchandise. Doors open at 6pm to view the special exhibit “eat make share: a taste of immigration from the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21. Film begins at 7pm, 96 minutes long. Rated PG.
