How Could You, Mrs. Dick?
Based on a true story, this play follows the rise and scrutiny of Evelyn Dick, a woman at the centre of a sensationalized public scandal. As reporters attempt to uncover the truth, Evelyn becomes both subject and spectacle. Charismatic and complex, she navigates the blurred line between truth and perception as those around her attempt to define her.
At its core, the play explores the making of a public figure — and the cost of being at the centre of it.
Directed by Matt Willson. Produced by Julie Donahue. Written by Douglas Rodger. All ages welcome.
