Toronto Jazz Orchestra
The Toronto Jazz Orchestra is one of Canada's premier big bands, performing big band jazz since 1998. This 18-piece ensemble, led by founder and Artistic Director Josh Grossman, performs music by important jazz composers while championing outstanding Canadian writers and arrangers.
The orchestra's repertoire spans classic swing to contemporary jazz, performed with energy and precision.
A regular presence on Toronto's jazz scene and at festivals and concert halls across Ontario, the ensemble is celebrated for powerful live performances that honour the tradition of big band music while bringing it to life for today's audiences.
