Live & Local: Songwriters’ Circle & Open Mic

Live & Local is an intimate evening of storytelling, song, and community hosted by Hamilton-based singer-songwriter Chelsea McWilliams of Red Hill Valleys.

The event begins with a curated songwriters' circle featuring regional artists sharing original songs, the stories behind them, and the inspirations that shape their work. An open mic session follows, inviting emerging and amateur performers to share their music in a supportive, collaborative environment. Select participants may receive feedback and insight from the featured artists, creating a mentorship opportunity.

Open to seasoned songwriters and first-time performers alike. Whether performing or listening, attendees are invited to celebrate the creativity thriving in the region.
