She Carries the Song

Three Indigenous women artists — Celeigh Cardinal (Cree), Mimi O'Bonsawin (W8banaki), and Lacey Hill (Oneida/Mohawk) — perform together in an intimate gathering that weaves voice, story, and song.

Rooted in their distinct Nations and musical traditions, the artists carry the songs of their ancestors, their homelands, and their own lived experience as women, culture bearers, and changemakers. The performance features soaring harmonies, honest storytelling, and deep reverence for tradition — a celebration and reclamation of spirit, resilience, and connection.
