Pottery Wheel Workshop
Reported
Spend a Saturday afternoon getting creative with clay. This one-time pottery wheel workshop is a fun and relaxing way to try something new, whether attending solo or with a partner, friend, or family member.
Instructor Yvette Garcia-Mier will guide participants through the basics of throwing on the potter's wheel. No experience is needed, and all skill levels are welcome. Attendees will create their own ceramic piece to keep.
All materials are included — clay, tools, glazes, and kiln firings. Once your pottery has been glazed and fired, it will be ready for pickup a few weeks later.
For the workshop, avoid wearing jewelry or having long nails, as they can get in the way. Bring an apron or an old t-shirt and a towel.
Finished pieces will typically be fired during the course. Attendees can collect their work during sessions or 3–4 weeks after the workshop ends. You'll receive an email notification when your creations are ready for pickup.
