Special Exhibition: Money in 10 Questions | Kids Edition

Money in 10 Questions: Kids Edition answers ten questions Canadian children submitted to the Bank of Canada Museum—more than 800 came in from across the country. The exhibition uses play-based activity stations to explore what kids need to know to manage their financial futures.

Stations include a challenge to save a million dollars, a budget-balancing scale, stories from kid entrepreneurs, and an exploration of unusual forms of currency (some touchable, including one that is furry). Visitors can decide whether bones could work as money and discover how different societies have valued exchange.

The exhibition is designed as a space for parents and children to play and learn together, sparking conversations about money and its role in their lives.

Developed by the Bank of Canada Museum and presented by Ingenium – Canada's Museums of Science and Innovation, the exhibition runs October 3, 2026 – January 23, 2027 at Joseph Brant Museum.
