Shantero Production: THE BARRA MACNEILS – AN EAST COAST CHRISTMAS

The Barra MacNeils present An East Coast Christmas 🎄, a musical celebration drawing from traditional MacNeil family Christmas ceilidhs, midnight masses, and festive gatherings. The five siblings — Lucy, Boyd, Stewart, Kyle, and Sheumas — perform on accordion, guitar, piano, fiddle, bodhrán, mandolin, banjo, Celtic harp, tin whistles, bouzouki, and flute, with Jamie Gatti on bass. Their captivating vocals and distinctive harmonies move fluidly from rousing choruses to haunting Gaelic ballads to foot-stomping instrumentals that invite step-dancing.

The Halifax Daily News has called them "a treasure of the East Coast, rich with tradition and unmatched in ensemble performance," and the Globe & Mail named their Christmas recording "one of the best five Christmas albums of all time."
