United in Reconciliation

Join Cree author, David A Robertson on a journey of reconciliation, the weekend of September 25-27. All events are free! The Misewa Saga: Teaching and Learning Through Fantasy Friday, September 26 at 7 p.m.

Munn’s United Church Youth in 7th grade and up and young adults can join Robertson as he discusses his fantasy series, The Misewa Saga. Learn how the series was developed, the craft of developing it into a long-term series, and the intention of teaching through it. Snacks provided.

Making Reconciliation Real and Relatable Saturday, September 26 at 10 a.m. Port Nelson United Church David A. Robertson brings his acclaimed book, “52 Ways to Reconcile,” to life in this keynote designed to engage, inspire, and empower audiences to move reconciliation forward in tangible ways. Open to all ages.

Reconciliation often feels overwhelming or abstract, but Robertson has an unmatched ability to break it down into accessible, human stories and practical steps.

With humour, honesty, and empathy, he connects with audiences on a deeply personal level, showing that reconciliation isn’t just a national project—it’s a journey we can all participate in. Walking Through the Fire: Indigenous Collaborations Sunday, September 27 at 7 p.m.

From Métis fiddling to an East Coast Kitchen Party, to the drumming of the Pacific Northwest, experience the beauty and diversity of music from Turtle Island. Open to all ages.
