Join us for a Back to School Beach Clean Up on August 15

Back to School Beach Clean-Up 🌊

BurlingtonGreen invites community members of all ages to help protect Burlington Beach by removing microplastics and nurdles—tiny plastic pieces that harm wildlife and enter waterways. Participants will learn about shoreline stewardship and the importance of keeping the beach litter-free.

Two dates are available: Saturday, August 15th and Saturday, August 29th, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Meet at BurlingtonGreen's Eco-Hub, 1094 Lakeshore Road.

Open to students, families, educators, and all community members. The event is free and takes place outdoors, rain or shine. Participants can earn volunteer hours.
